ITC first aid qualifications are accredited by the national qualification regulators in Scotland, Northern Ireland, England and Wales. SQA, OfQual & HSE.
Statutory Qualifications for HSE Regulatory compliance
Employers need to provide First Aid care on their premises for staff and have a duty of care towards all visitors and users of their facilities. ITC Providers can assist you in your assessment of your statutory first aid needs.
- EFAW Emergency First Aid at Work (1-day of 6 contact hours)
- FAW First Aid at Work (3-days with a total of 18 contact hours)
- FAWR First Aid at Work Refresher (2-days totalling 12 contact hours)
- BSR Basic Skills Refresher (3 contact hours annually)
Contact an ITC Provider for an accredited course to suit your group, delivered at your workplace or their venue, to meet your requirements and comply with current regulations.
ITC Accredited Qualifications
- Appointed Person (4-hours) A course to comply with current definition of an Appointed Person and HSE guidance if an Appointed Person requires some first aid training.
All the courses listed above are suitable for all sectors and situations in the workplace and many organisations regularly send one or two individuals at to these courses. The type of course chosen depends upon a risk assessment of your first aid needs. Please bear in mind that this site advertises courses open to individuals to make enquiry and booking.
