Course Type: Expedition First Aid

Course Overview

First Aid Care on Expedition - Days From Help
ITC accredited Expedition courses have evolved over the years. Each course is uniquely tailored to the client group and builds upon our experience gained over the years. Typically an ITC qualification is delivered either from the Emergency Expedition series or the Advanced Expedition series.

The Emergency series is for those with some First Aid experience and provides 2 days of hands on interactive training covering essential First Aid technique and incident management and then a further day with an environment specific module tailored to the group.

The Advanced series is for those who have completed First Aid qualifications in the past and have been active First Aiders for some time. It develops a more proactive approach to incident management over 2 days and then a further day with an environment specific module. An ethos of becoming advanced at the basics rather than basic at advanced skills is developed. Thus they are First Aid cqualifications rather than expedition medic courses.

The courses are aimed at the expedition member who is traveling away from medical help and requires further First Aid insight rather then invasive medical training.
